National Night Out 08/04/2009

 Time: 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm 

Location: 180 Maple St. {High School Athletic Field} East Longmeadow, MA 01028

This event provides the community a night of safety and opportunity to come together in a crime free environment.  Meet the people that keep East Longmeadow safe ,Our Emergency Responders. Many of the town civic groups will be there showcasing their contributions to the town. Free refreshments and entertainment will be available for all ages. Any non-profit or service group in town wishing to participate, please call Officers Joseph Barone or Stuart Strohman at 525-5440 and Susan & Al Grimaldi 525-3188.

Master of Ceremony: SY BECKER, 22NEWS (WWLP)

Bring your cameras, your children, grandchildren, spouse, friends and be prepared to have a great time! There will be plenty of photo opportunities for you!  

Opening ceremony: Sy Becker welcomes all to the Fourth Annual East Longmeadow National Night Out.  Then Sy introduces: American Legion Post 293 Jr. Vice Commander, John Kopec & Chaplain Russell Rennel for the raising of the flag. Sy will then introduce Hampden County American Legion Commander of District 3, Dan Hamre for the Pledge of Allegiance & public greeting. Sy Becker will then introduce Rachel McCandlish who will sing the Star-Spangled Banner.
